The third floor studio at Motherland offers commercial design and illustration services, hosts community art classes, and creative events for kids and adults.

As a reflection of the whole experience, studio services focus on helping other community-based businesses explore and grow their potential, while workshops and events provide more opportunities for artists, thinkers, adventurers and the curious to discover and play.

ART CLASSES

Intro to Acrylic Painting (14+)

Explore the medium of acrylic paint in a studio setting. This 6 week course will cover various techniques and approaches for both still-life and figurative painting. All levels are welcome. Materials not included.

Tween Art (11-14)

Students will go deeper into the creative arts with weekly projects that will include drawing realistically, painting techniques, paper crafts and stop motion animation. References to related working artists will also be covered. Materials included.

Youth Art (7-10)

Daughters Art Services

Exhibits for commercial and public spaces, artwork rentals, and private collection management.

Jaime Duchscherer and Laura Duquette have been partnered in arts related ventures since childhood. Named after their lifelong experience of art and play in the everyday, both were born to and encouraged by visionary fathers. Daughters seeks out highly trafficked spaces to fill with modern, local artwork bringing together the artist community with small business owners creating a vibrant commercial environment.
